Fiber Cement is produced in sheets and fabricated into finished panels. Standard sizes of plates  1500 х 3000 х 8 mm,1200 х 1570 х 8mm. 
If we compare fiber cement slabs with today's popular facing porcelain stoneware, then fiber cement has a number of advantages: the size range is not limited, the weight is less, the thickness is less, the color range is not limited, the slabs can be painted in any color and apply a textured coating. Also, fiber cement boards are much easier to cut and drill. 

The technological level of production of fiber cement boards is very high. The plate is produced of European quality, the guarantee of plates is up to 15 years. Hinged structures perfectly hide any geometric irregularities, relief and cracks in the walls of the building, stains formed over time on the facade and faded old paint. Their installation does not require preliminary adjustment and special preparation of the walls.

 Facade fiber cement boards are environmentally friendly and completely safe materials.  Fiber cement contains in its composition from 80 to 90 percent of cement, mineral fillers and cellulose in the form of reinforcing fibers. From exposure to ultraviolet radiation and atmospheric precipitation, the decorative layer is covered with a special protective compound, which not only prevents fading, but also ensures ease of cleaning the panels. The rear surface of the plate is treated with hydrophobic impregnation, which significantly reduces the moisture absorption of the material.

How fiber cement facade panels are made?

The manufacturing technology of fiber cement facing materials was developed in Japan. Currently, this material is produced in most European countries. Immediately, we note the fact that the manufacture of high-quality fiber cement boards in a handicraft way is impossible: special expensive equipment, large production areas, laboratories, warehouses, etc. are required. The technological process for the production of facing material includes several stages:

1. At the first stage, the cellulose, which is part of the boards, is separated into individual fibers, thoroughly cleaned and sent for storage in a special container. After that, the cleaned fibers enter the bunker, where they are mixed with the rest of the components.

2.In a special drum, all the necessary ingredients (sand, cement, cellulose fibers, plasticizers and other additives) are thoroughly mixed. A strictly defined amount of water is added to the resulting dry mixture and kneaded until the desired consistency and homogeneity of the mixture are obtained.

3. The mixture obtained in this way is pressed in special forms, due to which excess moisture is eliminated, the structure of the material is compacted and the required texture is provided.

4. The next stage is the processing of the resulting semi-finished products in an autoclave chamber, where the final solidification of the panels takes place at a temperature of 170 - 180 C. In addition to high temperature, the sheets are processed with saturated steam under high pressure. It is the effect of saturated steam that provides the formation of calcium hydrosilicate. The presence of this element in the structure of the plates significantly increases their strength and durability.

5. At the final stage of the technological process, hydrophobic, decorative and protective coatings are applied, which significantly reduce moisture absorption, increase resistance to weathering and temperature changes.

It is durable and reliable (8 mm versus 2 mm plastic): unlike wood, it does not dry out or darken, does not require painting every 3-4 years; does not rattle in the rain and does not rust like metal; does not deform like plastic.
