The pediment apron "Aquasystem" is a molded additional element made of sheet steel with a colored polymer coating that is resistant to atmospheric pressure. The product is used on roofs covered with shingles and is attached along the windboard. The top shelf of the apron is mounted under the cover. The main function of the apron is to protect the windboard from precipitation and to drain water from it. It is recommended to fix the bar with clamps in increments of 30-40 cm. It is installed on the crate, protects the frontal board from precipitation and facilitates the discharge of water from the slopes into the gutters.
Molded products or decorative aprons are used for finishing and decorating roofing and facade units.
Aprons have a separate technical purpose - water drainage from various places - a dripper directs water into the gutter, a condensate dripper drains water from the roofing cake from the facade of the building, thereby protecting it from getting wet, the gable apron also has a technological bend in the upper part, which prevents water from penetrating under the roof covering even in case of heavy lateral rain, abutments and wall aprons divert water from the joints of the roof with the facade or in other cases, ebbs at the windows divert water from the facade.
Particular attention is paid to the joints of roof slopes - valleys, which are rarely waterproofed without a metal apron.
Aprons are installed with an overlap of 50 mm; the overlap is treated with silicone sealant and riveted in increments of 25-50 mm; the resulting joint is re-treated with silicone sealant. Aprons are fastened with self-tapping screws, which are then covered with decorative caps in the color of aprons.
